Alphabet Dating - All about H Date Ideas

For our one year anniversary (paper), I decided I was going to start a new tradition by making my husband an A to Z Wedding Anniversary Date Book. The date book helps us keep track of what we do on our wedding anniversaries and acts as a scrapbook. The A to Z Anniversary tradition goal is to plan everything about your wedding anniversaries around the letter that goes with that year.

H = 8th Anniversary; Traditional gift is Bronze/Pottery, Modern is Linens/Lace

For our 8th Anniversary I got my husband an engraved Bronze compass, a Star Wars mug (pottery), and Herbal Tea to go with it.

My husband got me a Hanging Flower Basket, a Bronze personalized keychain, Honey Tea, and cHips aHoy cookies.

For our All about "H" date, we celebrated on our Anniversary with the kiddos by going to I-Hop where we ordered Hot cakes and a Hamburger. We then went to a Hobby Store and the kids picked out a craft (Pearl Beads). Afterward we went to a local brewery for Trivia night which had a Halftime.

When we got a sitter, we went to Hamburg to eat Hoagies at Big City Pizza followed by playing Hard core games at Activate Games. Overall we had a blast!

Try to think outside the box when planning your "All about H" date. You only get to celebrate your anniversary once a year so try to do something different that you don't get to do a lot.
