For our one year anniversary (paper), I decided I was going to start a new tradition by making my husband an A to Z Wedding Anniversary Date Book. The date book helps us keep track of what we do on our wedding anniversaries and acts as a scrapbook. The A to Z Anniversary tradition goal is to plan everything about your wedding anniversaries around the letter that goes with that year.

D = 4th Anniversary; Traditional gift is Fruit/Flowers, Modern is Appliances

This past weekend my husband and I celebrated our fourth year of being married. For our fourth wedding anniversary, my husband got me a DSL camera lens and gear. I made my husband a fruit book filled with pictures and fruit sayings along with a Fake Fruit Scavenger Hunt and a Multiple Choice Date (abcD). Since I created the Multiple Choice Date, my husband selected the letter D on all of the dates and we essentially went on a Double Date with ourselves as it was a very fun filled weekend!

For our "All about D" date we got a babysitter and went on a Date. We had Dinner at Double Dogs then were going to head to Dairy Queen for Dessert but due to unfortunate events (I found a bone in my meal), the restaurant gave us a free Dessert. We hit up the movies to see Book Club staring Diane Keaton.

Some of our Multiple Choice Date included a family dinner at Olive Garden and fruity milkshakes at Steak and Shake. We spent the rest of the weekend couch shopping, Decorative pillow shopping, home Decor shopping and having Drinks with friends by the fire.

Try to think outside the box when planning your "All about D" date. You only get to celebrate your anniversary once a year so try to do something different that you don't get to do a lot. Try a new restaurant or go exploring. I've created a list to help you if you are having trouble coming up with things to do or places to eat that start with the letter "D".
