Fruit Theme Gift Ideas - 4 Year Anniversary

In May 2018 my husband and I celebrated four years of being married. Four years traditional gift is fruit and flowers. The modern gift is appliances and according to our A to Z Date tradition, it is our All about D Date.

Fruit and flowers sounds like an easy gift, plain and simple but I didn't want to give my husband fruit and flowers for our anniversary. I felt like it was cheesy so I decided to be creative and got to brainstorming. I came up with a few ideas but ended up creating a Multiple Choice Date along with a  Fruit Saying Anniversary Book and a Fake Fruit Scavenger Hunt. I also had a Crown Royal Apple label made months ago wishing my husband a happy anniversary.

Now you may be wondering what a Multiple Choice Date is and how all these gifts tie together. All four gifts are fruit related gifts to go with the traditional gift idea, fruit.  Not only did I stick to the fruit theme, but I stuck to the number four. 

Four years of marriage.

Four gifts. 

The fruit saying book had sixteen sayings. Thats four sayings for ever year together. 

The Fake Fruit Scavenger Hunt had sixteen tasks. Thats four tasks for ever year together. 

The Multiple Choice Date had four parts and four choices (abcD) for each part.

What is a Multiple Choice Date? 
A Multiple Choice Date is exactly like it sounds. It is a date that you go on based off of choices your significant other chooses. You break the date into several different parts and give them four choices under each part. Your significant other then chooses what they want to do by circling A, B, C or D and you go on a date based off of what they choose. 

I originally made a Multiple Choice Date back in 2013 for my December date in The 12 Dates of Christmas date box I made as a Christmas gift for my husband. This time I wrote the options out and drew pictures to go along with the options. 

I broke the Multiple Choice Date into four parts because it was our four year anniversary. I tried to related all of the choices as best as I could to fruit since fruit is the traditional gift idea for four years. 

Part One: Choose a location to go on the Fake Fruit Scavenger Hunt.
Part Two: Dinner
Part Three: Dessert
Part Four: Activity

The best part about a Multiple Choice Date is that the options are endless. You can choose any restaurant or activities you want to fill in the options with.

This is my second time creating a Multiple Choice Date for my husband and I will most likely do it several more times over the years with different themes and activities.
