Guess what, we are expecting Baby #3 this October! We are going to have our hands full with a newborn, a one year old and a two year old but the benefit is that our kids will always have someone to play with!
A week before our son was born I wrote a blog, Pregnancy Announcement Ideas, sharing how we announced that we were expecting and how we revealed the gender of our other two babies so it's only fair if I share with you how we announced we were expecting our third child and revealed it's gender isn't it?
Baby #3
Right before Easter we told our mother's and siblings we were expecting by giving them a basket with pink and blue Easter eggs in it. Inside the eggs were notes that read "We're EGG-specting!" and "Baby Tini 3 is eggspected to hatch October 2016". This is a great holiday announcement if you are pregnant at Easter time.
We announced to our social media friends and the rest of our family that we were expecting Baby #3 by sharing the below photo. Since our last name in Martini and we will have a newborn, a one year old and a two year old, Oh My, we thought it was only appropriate. Everybody loved our announcement and we got a ton of laughs.
I posted the photo saying "Since it's National Sibling Day, ___ and ___ have something they want to share: The tiebreaker will be coming October 2016".
The photo reads, "1 Martini, 2 Martini, 3 Martini, FLOOR..."
Since we already have a girl and a boy, we announced the tie breaker by playing an intense game of Tic-Tac-Toe. I made a short video of us playing Tic-Tac-Toe to reveal the gender of Baby #3 along with it's name. The video starts with the saying "Tic-Tac-Toe three babies in a row the tiebreaker is..."
and the tiebreaker is... A BOY!!!
I know that there are millions of pregnancy announcements and gender reveals out there but I like to try to be creative and come up with my own. I hope you enjoyed these three different ideas. Let me know what you think below!
