Wedding Song Ideas for those Special Moments

I recently wrote a blog on How to DJ your own Wedding; whether or not you decide to DJ your own wedding, I'm going to give you some song ideas to help you build your wedding playlist.

There are millions of songs out there and tons of other guides to finding the right wedding music. This list includes songs that can work for all the special moments on your special day. Some songs are popular wedding songs and others you may of never heard of. I'm sure I'm going to leave out some good songs but hopefully this list will at least help get you started creating your wedding playlist.

Reception Dance Songs for DJing you're own Wedding

If you hired a DJ you will not need to worry about choosing these songs.

During your reception you are going to want to include songs from different eras since you will have guest of all ages, a few slow songs, some party favorites and line dances. Don't over do it with the slow songs and line dances because you will end up boring your guests; you want to keep your reception more upbeat. I think we had three or four line dances and five slow songs spread out throughout our playlist.
